On July 22, Capital Medical Group, Tsinghua University and Johns Hopkins University once again co-hosted “the 3rd Tsinghua-Johns Hopkins-Capital Healthcare Forum 2017” with three themes of “Healthcare Reform · Integration · Innovation” in Tsinghua University. Wang Xiaoming (Deputy Secretary-General of Beijing Municipal Government), Yue Peng (Chairman of BSAM), Xue Qikun (Vice President of Tsinghua University), Lei Haichao (Director of Beijing Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission), Song Fuxing (President of PICC Health) and delegates from three organizers attended the forum. They incisively discussed and gained insights into chain effect caused by Beijing’s current new healthcare reform, coping strategies and other issues. This forum also attracted nearly 500 attendees from governmental authorities, academia, public hospitals, social institutions, medical care and health investment enterprises, insurance companies and so on.
At this forum, Lei Haichao disclosed the effectiveness of healthcare reform in the past hundred days since inception. Song Fuxing probed into the impacts of diversified medical payment mode on healthcare reform from the perspective of commercial insurance. Through the hosting of this high-profile forum, Capital Medical Group not only enhanced its industry-wide influence, but also demonstrated the powerful advantages and bright future for state-owned assets to operate hospitals.
