On June 14, BSAM successfully obtained debt financing instruments (DFI) registration qualification in National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors (NAFMII), with issuance ceiling limit of at most RMB10 billion (inclusive). Such DFI registration has been formally launched since February 2017. Up to now, declaration procedure has been completed and has been reviewed by NAFMII. BSAM formally gets official written reply from NAFMII.
Debt financing instruments (DFI) refers to a mechanism of multiple issuances under one registration on the basis of registration system, which can cover ultra-short-term financing bonds, short-term financing bonds, medium-term notes and mid/long-term medium-term notes cum rights (perpetual medium-term notes). DFI eliminates the need for registration according to different types, greatly improves the issuance efficiency, and helps issuers grasp the appropriate issuance window. This witnesses an innovation of NAFMII in terms of bond issuance, which is currently available to enterprises with high qualification rating so as to optimize the selection. BSAM is successfully qualified. Therefore, this will not only significantly improve the future financing flexibility and bond issuance efficiency, reduce financing costs, optimize debt structure and reduce financial risk, but also will further upgrade corporate image and influencing power of BSAM in the bond market.
